Outline Biography
Dr. Sayran Taha Ahmad is a fellow of the Kurdistan Academic Association. She has Bachelor Degree in Architecture, College of Engineering, at the University of Mosul – Iraq (June 1992). She has worked for the Municipality of Sulaimani as an Architect from (1992-2003). Sairan has obtained Bachelor Degree in Law, College of Law and Politics at the University of Salahaddin- Erbil, in the Kurdistan Region- Iraq and has fulfilled Master Degree (MA) in Law, from University of Sulaimani-Kurdistan Region- Iraq (June 2003), in International Law, and her Dissertation Title about: The International Protection of the Environment from The Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction (Iraq taken as a case study). Sairan has completed her PhD in Middle East Politics at the University of Exeter - United Kingdom (Jan 2013). Her Dissertation Title: The Role Played By the Kurdistan Regional Government in the Reconstruction of the Iraqi State. Sairan from 2004 to Present working with teaching staff in the Faculty of Law, at the University of Sulaimani.

4. Environmental problems and how to protect them from pollution,
especially the focus on creating environmental awareness among citizens.
5. Protection of human rights, especially for national and ethnic minorities
based on international conventions.
