At the Faculty of Science and Science Education, Geology Department, I am teaching two course namely;

1. Igneous Petrology

2. Metamorphic Petrology

and supervising a Petrography Lab.

My Philosophy in Teaching

My philosophy in teaching is to help students to ask and search for new questions in various topics in petrology and try to solve problems in geology . This can be achieved throw making numerous questions, the questions is easy to be formulate but the answers is difficult unless the student shod return to the scientific researches in igneous petrology and the main emphasis is on the petrogenesis of recent volcanic rocks, the origins of which can be related directly to their global tectonic setting. This new method helps the student to develop problem-solving strategies.
