My Philosophy in Teaching:
My philosophy of teaching is established on the basic rule that teaching must not be a restricted flow of book knowledge from instructor to students, but a supported push to stimulate creative thinking among them. How well they connect the information picked up in class with down to earth circumstances is a definitive pointer of this thinking process. As a teacher, my essential objectives are to facilitate creative thinking and to help students make the practical connection. These skills are the only sure way to making our students successful in the rapidly changing Kurdistan. The approach I have taken to accomplish this objective is to adopt teaching techniques such as group discussion in class, utilization of Internet resources, and development of small research projects. Besides stimulating interests in the subject material, development them to cultivate discipline and ethics is critical. I strongly believe that “Today’s Students are Tomorrow’s Decision-Makers and Natural Stewards”. As a lecturer, I have the responsibility of supporting students to accomplish their objectives.
