Outline Biography

I was born in 1978. I had completed the broad geologic specialty since 1997-2002 in the university of Sulaimani. Then, in 2002 and in the same university, I was appointed in the Department of Geology. I work on Mesozoic Stratigraphic Sequences of Iraqi Kurdistan Region and focused on Conglomerate and Radiolarite units in a northwestern segment of the Zagros fold–thrust belt, Kurdistan Region, NE Iraq. Now I am a lecturer (Assistant Professor) in the Geology Department at the University of Sulaimani, Kurdistan region-Iraq / Sulaimani City.

Head of Geology Department since 2018-2021.

Assistant professor in Geology Department since 2016.

Lecturer in Geology Department since 2009-2016.

Head of TQA-Unit (Teaching Quality Assurance Unit) in College of Science since 2014-2019.

Assistant Lecturer in Geology Department since 2006-2009.

Administrator (Assistant Geologist) in Geology Department, since 2002 to 2006.

Deputy Director of Cultural Center-University of Sulaimani since 2003-2006.

In Sulaimani University-

• • Teaching (Sedimentology and Sedimentary rocks, Igneous and Metamorphic rocks, Industrial mineral and rocks, Mineral chemistry, Petrology).

  • Supervising research projects of the 4^th stage undergraduate students.

  • Supervising and leading Filed geology training course.

In Garmian University-

• Teaching (Natural resources, Geography of Kurdistan)
