My Philosophy in Teaching

Teachers have a duty to their profession, to their students, and to themselves. This duty requires that a teacher never stop learning, continues to evaluate his or her performance among colleagues and students.

The students do not all learn at the same rate. A teacher should be an effective diagnostician of students’ interests, abilities, and prior knowledge, so he or she must plan learning experiences that will both challenge and allow every student to think and grow. Teachers must know their subjects and how to help students learn those subjects.

A teacher is dedicated to learning, to his or her discipline, to his or her students, and to making the future the best possible place for all of us to live. These are the challenges I accepted when I chose to be a teacher. I remain committed to them.

I believe all undergraduate students should leave this university with the ability to critically think. Thus, a cornerstone of my teaching philosophy and personal teaching goals is to help students develop their critical thinking skills.

1. Radiobiology, Fourth Year, B.Sc. students at the department of Physics-College of Science-University of Sulaimani since 2009 till now. 

2. Medical physics, First Year, B.Sc. students at Department of Medicine-University of Sulaimani for 3 years.

3. Mechanics to B.Sc. students –Physics department-College of Science- University of Sulaimani for 4 years.

4. Differential equations to B.Sc. students- Physics department-College of Science-University of Sulaimani since 2015 to 2018.

5. Radiobiology, Fourth Year, B.Sc.  Students -Department of Physic- University of Halabja 2017-2018.

6. Medical Physics to B.Sc. students-department of Physics-College of Science-University of Sulaimani 2018-2019 

7. Principle of Radiobiology and Radiation protection to Diploma students at th Department of Physics in 2014
