Outline Biography
I am currently a lecturer at Computer Department. I am teaching Operating Systems to undergraduate students (4thstage) and Functional Programming to postgraduate students (masters). Previously, I taught several subjects, such as OOP, Computer Graphics, and Programming. I graduated from the University of Technology – Baghdad in 2001. I got my MSc degree from the University of Sulaimani in 2007 and my PhD in Computer Science from the University of Southampton-UK in 2017. I have an excellent experience in many programming languages such as C/C++, Java, Prolog, Haskell and Python. In my PhD study, I have been working on designing a graph transformation system for converting provenance graphs. The formal description and various proofs of the system has been demonstrated based on concepts from algebraic graph rewriting and category theory.
