Certified Academic and registered Pharmacist with BSc in pharmacy (1988) and a Higher Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy from the College of Pharmacy and MSc and Ph.D. (1st Rank) in Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology from the College of Medicine University of Baghdad, and 20+ years of experience in pharmacy practice education and profession / Hospital and Community settings.

I worked as a Hospital Pharmacist in Sulaymaniyah Teaching Hospital for 8 years (1988-1996) and transferred to University of Sulaimani/ College of Pharmacy Their I served in many academic positions; Dean, a Vice Dean, Head of Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology during 2007-2017. Currently a Senior Lecturer of Basic, Molecular, Clinical, and Advanced Pharmacology, Toxicology, besides teaching Communication Skills in Pharmacy Practice to undergraduate and postgraduate students.

I am a member of the Federal International Pharmacist, Royal Pharmaceutical Society, Syndicate of Iraqi Pharmacists and Kurdistan Pharmacists Associations and Faculty Affiliate of College of Pharmacy at Belmont University, Tennessee USA.

Extensive experience in pharmacy practice, education and healthcare system ranging from clinical care to administrative responsibility.

Excellent strategic and analytical skills with good organization, planning, implementation, and problem resolution skills. Decisive judgment, critical thinking and delegation skills and ability to perform a task with minimal supervision.
