2- Practical Optical Mineralogy

3- Practical Mineral Chemistry

My Philosophy in Teaching

The Basic forms of teaching are Lecture, seminar, PowerPoint presentation and practical exercise. Videos are used to illustrate some aspects of the course.

Important material from the text and outside sources will covered during our regularly scheduled class meetings. Regular attendance is critical, and students should take careful notes. Bring your notebook, hand out, power point presentations and other required materials to every class meeting. Unless specified otherwise, all classes will meet in the regular classroom.

To help you organize your course notes and practice homework problem sets, you should have separate notebook or binder for this course filled with A4 paper. You are required to bring paper, writing instruments, erasers, pencil sharpeners, etc. to each and every class.
