• Fifty publications in stratigraphy, biostratigraphy, sequence stratigraphy , tectonostratigraphy,Foraminiferal biostratigraphy ( Large ,benthic and planktic foraminiferal zonations ). Stratigraphy of the Paleozoic ,Mesozoic and Cenozoic of Kurdistan and Iraq.
• I also Participates in Mawat Ophiolite's (Cupper -Chromites Ore Deposits project )
• Detail geological survey for Pb-Zn-Barite ore Deposits, north Zakho.
• My Interest in Kurdistan foreland basin generation and developments, with special attentions to rudist bearing carbonates,also in the Oligocene-Miocene reservoirs
• I work in the geological survey of Iraq for more than seven years in different project in two department, Department of geological survey and department of Paleontology . Project cover several geological sectors among the detail geological survey for native sulphur South Mosul . Detail geological Survey for Pb-Zn and Barite deposits from the Ora Imbriacted zone.,Zakho area.DHOUK.Iraqi kurdistan region. Detail geological survey, for site section for dams. Detail geological survey for Cupper deposits in Mawat Ophiolites. Detial geological survey for electric power station.Multipurpose geological survey.
• I work also on the Geological and Hydrogeological map of Kurdistan region , with FAO (UN) agency , and draw the geological and hydogeological map of Sulaimani and Kurdistan region.accordingly first geological and Hydrological map of kurdistan region finalized with 16 Hydrologeological basins characteristics .Drilling of several new aquifers with high discharge (50l/s) in kurdistan like swerawa, Qardgh Distrct. Swerala in Koya . Halabja Kalar Chamcahaml and Koya ...etc. and we drill more than 200 wells in Garmain region for domestic and livestock. Accordingly ,several geological and hydrogeological reports introduced by FAO /UN agency have been issued and acts ad basic building block for further researches and works in Kurdistan. And used by several oil companies as useful references.
• We work in a cooperation program our department and department of solid materials , in 2008-2012' university of Uppsala , Sweden.the results 7 seven published papers and two PhD Thesis.
• As pioneer project during 2008- 2009 in collaboration between our university and TAQ TAQ oil co, Through sponsoring three MSc student projects.
• Nominate and candidate of more than 10 student for Msc ., and PhD fellowships outside kurdistan.
• I also supervised several important cooperation project with private sector, through college of science consultancy agreement.

Research Interests

My interests covers the following fields

1. Integrated stratigraphic and applicable works(sequences,bio,chrono and tectonostratigraphy)
2. kurdistan foreland generation and development.
3. Regional geology of Kurdistan,and geological survey of kurdistan region.Applications in economic geology
4. Carbonate facies associations with special attentions to their fossils indications and application
5. Regional and local stratigraphic correlation across Zagros fold thrust belt.
6. The figure belwo represent anew discovered GENUS OF FORAMNIFERA FROM KURDISTAN FORELAND BASIN , OF MAASTRICHTIAN AGE BY ME , gormus and AL NUAIMY 2018 .NOMINATED AS SURAQLALTIA (Suraqlatia brasier ), and its developed to family rank recently in iran
