Biography
I got promoted to Assistant Professor in 2025.
I received a PhD degree in petroleum geology from the University of Sulaimani in 2023.
KRG/HCDP awarded me a scholarship to study an MSc in the United Kingdom, and since 2013, I have been pursuing a Master's degree in Petroleum Geochemistry at Newcastle University. Furthermore, I have also participated in many conferences, workshops, and training courses inside and outside of Kurdistan, Iraq.
In 2020, I was promoted to lecturer.
I studied for my BSc in Geology at the University of Sulaimani, and after graduating from the Department of Geology, I began working there as an assistant geologist in 2009.
I started my primary education at Kani School, continued my secondary education at Kani-Askan Boys' School, and completed my high school education at Halkawt Boys' School in Sulaimani City.

2024-2025: Teaching Practical Well Logging and supervising a graduation project.

Sep. 2015: Participated in a geological training course as a Team Leader in the Dokan area, which included supervising the BSc students in the field and the submitted report.

Jun.- Jul. 2008: Summer fieldwork training course in Azmar- Chwarta area, and in Dokan area in Slemani city NE of Iraq
I have experience teaching several topics, such as gamma-ray logs, borehole environments, saturation of hydrocarbons and/or water within reservoirs, and analytical geochemistry. In terms of software skills, I am interested in programs such as KINEX, OFMOD, GENESIS, and PIGI petroleum modelling software. Currently, I'm teaching at the University of Sulaimani, College of Science, Department of Geology.
