Outline Biography

Bahroz Ahmed was born in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq. In 1998, he entered the University of Sulaimani and obtained the B.Sc. degree in 2002 and the M.Sc. in 2008 in the Animal Production Department at the same university. He was an instructor in the same department from 2008 to 2012. In 2012, he moved to Gainesville, Florida, USA and joined the Animal Sciences Graduate Program of the University of Florida as a Ph.D. student under the supervision of Dr. Geoffrey Dahl in 2013, and he graduated and obtained his degree in 2017. His Ph.D. work focuses on the effect of in utero heat stress on dairy claves.
