My Philosophy in Teaching :

My aim, as a lecturer, is to create an atmosphere that fosters learning. As a lecturer, I have a passion for guiding students through the learning process, in addition to a passion for the material I present.

Another most important concept I hope to impart to students is that learning is a process that never ends. For me, the learning process includes improving myself professionally. I want to read more about formal learning theories to expand my understanding of how learning takes place. As I continue to instruct classes, I also aim to enhance my ease and confidence in front of classrooms and audiences.

My overall teaching philosophy is based on two principles:

· Active student learning strongly influences student-learning outcomes.

· Assessment procedures strongly influence student acquisition of knowledge.

To ensure that students learn the fundamental content of the courses I teach, my objectives as a university lecturer are as follows:

· to foster critical thinking skills.

· to facilitate the acquisition of lifelong learning skills

· to help students develop evidence-based clinical problem-solving

· to prepare students to function as highly skilled and competent spoken communication
