Advanced referencing

The videos in this section will guide you in advanced source referencing. While the previous section covers the basics of source referencing, this section is about using information from other sources to build your own arguments. It will discuss writing in your own voice, agreeing and disagreeing with sources, showing similarities and differences between sources, indicating gaps and disjunctions in other’s work and critiquing the arguments of others. The videos will also talk about remembering the context of your sources and how to go about indicating differences in credibility, scale and seminality of other’s work.
