Exam Rules

The final examination consists of a written exam and an oral presentation of the project work at the end of the course (at the end of the Second Semester). To be admitted to the exam, all students must book for it in Infostud.

In the Summer session (June and July), students who achieved a sufficient score on the intermediate test at the end of the First Semester are exempted from the first part of the written exam, which concerns the matter taught in the first Semester.

The oral exam will be done only in presence, presumably 10 days after the written exam.

The oral exam can be done even in a different session than the written exam. However, a positive score is kept for no more than one year.

The project work shall be illustrated by a technical report and presented in a PowerPoint presentation. Although it is suggested that the project work be prepared in a team of 3 people, the final exam can also be done on different dates by different students individually.

The final mark is computed as the weighted average of the written exam (weighted by 50%) or the two partial tests at the end of each semester (each is weighted by 25%) and the presentation of the project work (weighted by 50%). Subjective adjustments are possible depending on the quality of the project presentation and active participation during the course lectures.

Remark: To do the oral exam students are requested to upload the technical report of their project work in the classroom platform 24 hours before the oral exam time.
