The scientific research is focused on the study and development of:
1. lab-on-chip system for biomolecular and clinical analysis;
2. electronic devices based on hydrogenated amorphous silicon (a-Si: H);
3. electronic circuits for read-out of photocurrents;
4. printed circuit boards for read-out of commercial sensors (temperature, CO2, humidity), transmission and storage of data in cloud;
5. photodetector based on porous zinc oxide (in collaboration with Australian National University, Canberra);
6. electronic circuits for gamma camera (in collaboration with Italian National Council for Research, Rome);
7. x-ray dosimeter based on diamond photodiodes (in collaboration with Italian National Council for Research, Rome);
8. heterojunction solar cells (in collaboration with ENEA Research Center, Casaccia, Rome).
