Hello! I’m Mr. Paul Ahn, and it’s my pleasure to extend a warm welcome to the start of a new school year.
Education runs deep in my family’s roots. Across generations, my mother, grandfather, and uncles have dedicated themselves to higher education, and you could say that my path to teaching was simply meant to be.
My journey into teaching was fueled by my genuine passion for cultivating connections with students. The opportunity to influence young minds toward positive change is something I wholeheartedly embrace.
At the core of my teaching philosophy lies the creation of a nurturing and secure environment, one that fosters both learning and active participation. I believe that the most successful students are those who find joy and inspiration in their studies. My aim is to ignite motivation within students, guiding them toward realizing their potential. By modeling good conduct and strong work ethics, I hope to contribute to the development of their moral character as well. I believe that every student possesses unique strengths that enable them to excel. My purpose is to identify and nurture these qualities, empowering students to utilize them effectively.
I view minor setbacks as valuable opportunities for students to learn and self-correct while upholding their dignity. My teaching style emphasizes the understanding that every action carries consequences, both positive and negative. These consequences are not personal judgments, but rather a natural sequence following a mistake. My approach to discipline avoids a one-size-fits-all method, opting instead for a tailored approach that respects each student’s distinct attributes. My role involves inspiring students to become the best versions of themselves, contributing positively in ways that benefit everyone involved.
