Rahul Singh, PhD
Rahul is a member of the editorial board for the International Journal of Semantic Web and Information Systems, the International Journal for Intelligent Information Technologies, the Journal of Information Technology Theory and Applications, and the International Journal of Information Security and Privacy. He served as Editor-In-Chief for the Journal of Information Science and Technology (JIST).
Rahul regularly teaches undergraduate and graduate course in Systems Analysis and Design, and Information Assurance and Systems Security. Rahul teaches doctoral seminars in IS Research Frameworks, Systems Design and Development and in Information Assurance and Systems Security.
His research has been published in leading IS Journals including Management Information System Quarterly, Executive, The European Journal of Information Systems, Journal of AIS (JAIS), IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man and Cybernetics, Information Systems Frontiers, Communications of the ACM, AIS Transactions on Human Computer Interaction (THCI), Information Systems Management, eService Journal, International Journal of Semantic Web and Information Systems, International Journal of Intelligent Information Technologies, Information Resources Management Journal, International Journal of Production Engineering Socio-Economic Planning Sciences.
His research interests include Healthcare, Health Analytics and Business Intelligence . Additional interests include Social Media Strategy, Accessibility and Usability of Systems, Information and Systems Security, Secure Business Processes , Web 2.0 and Knowledge Management, Semantic eBusiness, Knowledge Management, Intelligent Agents, Data mining and Machine learning.
Rahul is an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Systems and Supply Chain Management, Bryan School of Business and Economics at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He obtained his Ph.D. in Business from Virginia Commonwealth University.
