Call for Papers

Description

We are pleased to announce a call for papers for the Research Seminar of the Department of Systems and Industrial Engineering. Master students are invited to submit a state-of-the-art paper, describing the findings of the literature review that was performed during the first term of 2017. This seminar provides a unique opportunity to share the research directions in your own field and to get feedback from your peers and professors.

The submissions system is open for submitting the paper's final version!!

Author Guidelines

    • Full papers have to be submitted (8 pages long).

    • The paper format must follow the ACM SIG Proceedings Template

    • Independently of your choice from the available templates (Latex or MS Word) you must submit a PDF file (source files are not allowed!)

    • According to the double blind policy, do not include author's name in the PDF file of your paper (anonymous submission). However do include your contact information in the submissions web site.

Policies

    • Double blind review: authors do not know the names of the reviewers of their papers. Reviewers do not know the name of the authors. Therefore, do not include author's name in the paper.

    • After the system has been closed, no submissions will be allowed.

    • After you submit a paper, you will be invited to review other submissions from different students.

    • Open an account in the easy-chair system, providing your contact information.

    • Select the appropriate track and submit the paper by the specified deadline.

    • Include your contact information and the information of all your co-authors.

    • Make sure your submission is anonymous, i.e. the author name is not included in your PDF file.

Presentations

    • On Sunday 30 Apr 7:00 a.m., the slides file will be downloaded from the author's web page.

    • Feel free to modify and publish your slides until 30 Apr 7:00 a.m.

    • Once the PPT file has been downloaded, no updates will be accepted.
