Student English Language Support

SELS is a free, one-on-one English as a Second Language (ESL) support service
for University of Minnesota international undergraduate students.

Please note that SELS is a service for undergraduate students at the University of Minnesota.   If you are a graduate student, please see the self-study resources available at esl.umn.edu, consider taking an ESL course through the Minnesota English Language Program, or attend one of the MELP presentations offered through the Graduate School.  Other resources available to graduate students include Student Writing Support and Academic Skills Coaching.  If you are a graduate student seeking one-on-one English support similar to SELS, we also invite you to fill out this short survey about your interest to help us explore the possibilities of offering similar services to graduate students in the future.
