Process to apply for SLC Membership
SLC welcomes self-nominations from all PT-MBA students. To apply, complete the application form. New members are accepted by a majority vote by current SLC members.
Process to become an SLC Officer
Elections for both voting members and the Executive Committee will be determined by the number of vacancies on the SLC and/or Executive Committee.
Qualifications: To be considered for an open Executive Committee position, a person must be an SLC member and have served at least three months. Non-voting members are not eligible for the Executive Committee.
Election: The Executive Committee members will be elected by SLC members through majority vote. Candidates for the Executive Committee are identified by self-nomination through submission of a statement of interest.
Term of office: Executive Committee members serve a one-year term. They may run for reelection for each additional one-year term. Incumbent executive committee members may be called upon to fill an interim term as needed and must be approved by SLC voting membership.
