All EHS doctoral candidates are required to participate in the student poster competition. All other EHS students and post-doctoral fellows are highly encouraged to participate. Abstract submissions are welcomed from trainees in epidemiology, toxicology, biomedical research, and other related fields.
Poster sessions will take place in Zoom breakout rooms consisting of several presenters and a judge. Due to the virtual format, it is recommended that students convert their presentation into a PowerPoint slideshow of no more than a few slides. Students will have 5 minutes to present their work, followed by 2-3 minutes of questions.
All students and post-doctoral fellows should be online in their respective Zoom room for their poster presentation from 1:50pm-2:25pm on Thursday, February 25th, 2021 to ensure they are able to present to the poster judges.
The presenters of the top three posters will be awarded cash prizes and presented with certificates of achievement. Notification of awards will go out the week after the symposium using the email addresses provided at the time of registration.
