Perform hands-on lab work with a senior member of the lab
Possibility to conduct a bioinformatics-oriented project
Maintain and manipulate (i.e. siRNA, CRISPR) mammalian cells
Gain experience in CRISPR- and siRNA-based screening approaches
Basic HIV-1 molecular biology experiments including growth and titering of virus stocks, engineering viral plasmids
Gain familiarity with next generation-sequencing-based approaches
Present results at lab meetings and help your lab member present results at the NIH Structural Biology meeting
