It's time for tag days 2024!
We are excited to announce the return of our annual Galens Tag Days! A beloved tradition, Tag Days plays a central role in the mission of Galens Medical Society to support our local community. Thanks to our donors, we raise tens of thousands of dollars each year, with 100% of proceeds going directly to local charities that provide medical care, educational resources, and special needs assistance to children in Washtenaw County.
A message from our leadership
For nearly a century, University of Michigan medical students have looked forward to the first weekend of December to volunteer their time and enthusiasm by standing on the corners of Ann Arbor collecting donations to support children in need throughout Washtenaw County. Tag Days is a tradition beloved by all—an opportunity to make meaningful impact on our local community, and embrace the holiday spirit by wearing colorful "tags."
Our goal is to raise money through online, mail-in, and in-person donations—however you feel most comfortable.
