About

Our Story

Every winter, Galens members don red ponchos, grab metal buckets, and take to the streets of greater Ann Arbor to collect monetary donations for the children of Washtenaw County.

Held on the first weekend of December since 1927, Tag Days has become an important Ann Arbor tradition and plays a key role in Galens' mission to support local children's charities. Every year, Galens members raise tens of thousands of dollars during Tag Days, with 100% of proceeds going directly to local charities that provide educational resources, medical care, and special needs assistance to children in Washtenaw County.

Thanks to our community's generosity and support,
we raised over $60,000 during Tag Days 2022!
