Both the Learning Analytics Task Force and the Learning Analytics Fellows program have begun analysis efforts which will use data to explore questions about teaching and learning here at the University of Michigan. These projects span a wide range, including searching for patterns of performance in large data sets, analyzing text both by hand coding and automated methods, and creating new online and mobile apps which put teaching and learning data to use in supporting students, faculty, and staff.
These projects include a number of excellent research opportunities and internship possibilities for Michigan students at both the undergraduate and graduate level. This page was put together to help connect interested students with these opportunities. If you're interested, do please check out the listings below and contact the people offering the positions directly. In each case, you should send both a note expressing your interest and a one page CV listing experience, education, and interests you think are relevant.
