Connectomics
Our lab is collaborating with Jeff Lichtman's lab at Harvard University to use volume electron microscopy to reconstruct neurons and glial cells and to determine the complete synaptic wiring diagram of the brain, its connectome.
This is a reconstruction of two axon terminals and two glial cells.
