Winter is a great time for crafting. Here are some ideas for you to try. Keep them for yourself, decorate your room/house or give them as gifts.

1 c powdered milk
1/4 c cornstarch
1/4 c baking soda
10 drops essential oil {I chose spearmint}
Mix dry ingredients together in a mixing bowl.
Add essential oil to preference {keep in mind that it will be diluted in the bath tub}
Stir well.
Add the mixture to your jar and allow to sit at least 24 hours before enjoying.
* It will store in an airtight container for up to one month.

If you prefer a video tutorial, watch this one. Note the liquid recipe for each of these two examples is different (one uses glue, the other baby oil). They can be a little more intricate than what you did in elementary school. There are 2D and 3D options below. You can use plain white paper, oragami paper, wrapping paper. Not all snowflakes have to be white either.
