Biomass Combustion

The HEAT Lab has been involved in wood stove modeling, testing, and optimization via the efforts of various graduate and undergraduate students. HEAT Lab researchers have also been participating in Engineers in Technical Humanitarian Opportunities of Service Learning (ETHOS) projects, presentations, and internships working on biomass combustion in cookstoves. Research topics handled in the lab field vary from stove modeling to turbulence-induced stove development.
