Using Instructional Videos

·         Remember that we have a license to show movies as part of a lesson/ unit as well as for reward purposes.  Go to http://k12.movlic.com/ and search in the “movie search” box.  If you are showing a movie/video that is not part of the library collection or one of our digital subscriptions, you should check to make sure the movie is covered by the license. 

·        Please follow BOE and UCPS guidelines for showing videos for instructional purposes: BOE Policy 5-2

·         There is a video request form that you must fill out to submit to Mr. Childers for approval prior to showing any movies in class.  You can grab the form off the “Forms” page of the Antioch website, or get a hard copy from me in the Media Center.  Movies with a rating other than G or “unrated” must have parental permission as well.
