AGM + Meet the Exec

Our annual general meeting is a great opportunity to meet our exec team and ask us any questions you have about our club and what we do! In 2022, we ended the night by heading to Dewey's on campus and playing a couple of rounds of Durak. It was so nice to meet new faces and connect with people who are interested in what our club has to offer!

Embroidery Night

In the Spring of 2022, we were delighted to be able to hold our first in-person event in two years. With help from a professional embroidery instructor, we were each able to make our own little bookmarks to take home with us at the end. 

Easter Pysanky Making Workshop

To celebrate Easter in 2022, USS created pysanky making kits that were sold and delivered to the homes of event attendees. At the time of the event, event attendees watched a USS member led virtual live tutorial about how to make the pysanky and the associated symbolism. Afterwards, attendees made their own pysanky together virtually and had the expertise of our USS members to ask questions!

Rally for Ukraine

After the start of the full-scale invasion on February  24th 2022, the USS exec team quickly pulled together a rally in support of Ukraine and Ukrainian sovereignty. This rally was a huge success, with a huge group of students standing in attendance to show their support.
