Absences

If you have any absences that were not included in your pre-rotation questionnaire, please notify the Lead Resident, Dr. Gabrielle Herman (pedneuld@ualberta.ca) and the program admin (pedneuro@ualberta.ca) ASAP. 

Requests for Leave

Requests for leave, including vacation time, flex/personal days, or conference leave, must be approved by Dr. Colin Wilbur, our Program Director. 

If you anticipate being absent from the inpatient service for more than 2 hours in a single day due to personal reasons, please submit a request for a flex/personal day.

Please refer to the block schedule to know when you are on service or in clinics. We also have weekly pediatric neurology case rounds on Wednesdays at noon and other teaching sessions as part of daily rounds. The block schedule has the pertinent rounds and events to attend.
