A virtual orientation session for this rotation is tentatively scheduled to be held on the first day of the block, starting at 8:00 am, pending availability of the presenter. A calendar invitation containing the Zoom link will be sent to you. Following orientation, please meet with the staff physician on your assigned service. See the Call Schedules for the staff physician and trainee service schedule. If you require assistance locating a staff physician, page them directly by contacting Switchboard at 780-407-6191.

In Rotation Teaching Primer: Mandatory Reading
Hematology teaching sessions are scheduled for trainees throughout the block. Calendar invites with Zoom links will be emailed to your ualberta email for each session. Post-call residents are expected to attend. Please see the Lecture Handouts folder to the right.
Residents may be sent an evaluation form after each teaching session to evaluate the presenter. All evaluation information will be collected anonymously.

End of Rotation (EOR) Exam
An end of rotation exam will be held during the last week of the block. More information will be provided closer to the exam date. You will have 48 hours to write the exam and submit.
