Dr. Kelvin Jones
Dr. Kelvin Jones is a Professor at the University of Alberta. His project is in collaboration with Dr. Kalra. Their project seeks to identify biomarkers of ALS to improve diagnosis, monitoring of progression and response to therapy.
Participation in their study involves electrodiagnostic testing or measuring the electrical activity of nerves and muscles.

Dr. Monica GorassiniĀ
Dr. Monica Gorassini is a Professor at the University of Alberta. Her project seeks to learn why motor neurons in the spinal cord become weak in people with motor neuron disease. Her study will help us understand how neurons in the spinal cord contribute to muscle weakness. Participation will involve having muscle activity recorded using surface electrodes.
If you want to learn more about the experiment, please contact: Dr. Monica Gorassini at 780-340-9259 or mag4@ualberta.ca
