Course Description
This is a second course in algebra. Topics covered include: solving quadratic, rational and radical equations, factoring, simplifying rational and radical expressions and complex numbers, determining the equations of lines and solving application problems.
Course Outcomes:
1. Students will solve nonlinear equations using analytic methods.
2. Students will use mathematics concepts in real world situations.
3. Students will simplify and perform operations with nonlinear expressions.
