We currently have 15 schools. We are proud to work in partnership with our leaders to create a community of expertise across the Trust.

In Tilian we value the individuality of schools. We understand that schools need to serve their communities and because our school communities are diverse, our schools must also be diverse.

Listed below are the fantastic schools we work with, and features their most recent Ofsted judgements.

Palgrave Church of England Primary School

The school received a short inspection on 4th March which confirmed that the school continued to be highly effective. 'Pupils thrive in this welcoming and inclusive school. Pupils respond well to the high expectations that are set out for their achievement. Pupils behave extremely well. The school’s focus on enrichment and personal development ensures that pupils grow not only in knowledge, but also in character.'

Old Newton Church of England Primary School

'Pupils, parents and carers, and staff are proud to be part of the Old Newton family. The school is a warm, welcoming and respectful community. Pupils are well cared for and supported. Pupils enjoy coming to school to learn and be with their friends. Children in the Reception Year get off to a good start. Staff have high expectations. Classrooms are busy learning environments. Rougham Church of England Primary School

'From Reception, pupils learn to be curious, confident, independent learners. They are sensible, kind and respectful. They are extremely well behaved. Reading is at the heart of the curriculum. This ensures pupils develop a love for reading from the start of Reception. Pupils are enthusiastic about their learning, and they achieve well. They are keen to share what they have learned.' Gislingham Church of England Primary School

'Pupils are expected to work hard, and they do. The school has high expectations for what they can achieve; many pupils achieve a high standard academically by the time they leave. They are enthusiastic about the topics they study and want to find out more. Their academic learning is supported by lots of other activities, such as learning the guitar and acting in Shakespeare’s plays at a local theatre.' Ofsted

Orford Church of England Primary School and Nursery

'Adults have high expectations for pupils’ learning and behaviour. Pupils enjoy their lessons. They learn well and make strong progress in most subjects. Teachers make lessons interesting. There are lots of opportunities to go on trips to support pupils’ learning.' Ofsted 

Crawford's Church of England Primary School

'Pupils have access to an exceptionally wide variety of resources to encourage play and exploration. Pupils build dens, role play shops, create ‘potions’, and climb crates and trees. They create huge, collaborative artworks and make minibeast habitats. Pupils work with others and develop their play over several days. They are aware of risk and consider what they must do to minimise this. Pupils look out for each other and make sure that everyone is included.' Ofsted  

Ixworth Church of England Primary School

'Pupils are happy to attend Ixworth Church of England Primary School. They arrive each day with positive attitudes, ready to learn. Pupils are courteous and polite. They are respectful of one another during lessons and at playtimes.' Ofsted 

Wilby Church of England Primary School

Bawdsey Church of England Primary School

Cavendish Church of England Primary School

The school’s warm and caring environment provides a safe space for pupils to thrive and flourish. Whether chatting with friends across the dining table or pulling on wellies to get muddy at lunchtime, pupils play and socialise together very happily. 

Adults set high standards for pupils’ learning from early years upwards. Pupils live up to these expectations. They always try their very best in lessons and achieve well. Opportunities for pupils to take part in activities to promote their wider personal development are in abundance. It goes beyond what many pupils may normally get to experience. 

Pupils and adults enact the school’s values. A deep culture of mutual respect runs through the school. Pupils, including the very youngest, behave extremely well.

Rattlesden Church of England Primary Academy

Pupils love attending this happy and nurturing school. Pupils and their families are overwhelmingly positive about the school and love the close-knit family feel. Pupils live up to the school’s high expectations to achieve their very best. Pupils typically perform well in a broad range of subjects. Their achievement in early reading and mathematics are particularly high. Pupils behave exceptionally well and fully engage with their learning. They feel very well supported and cared for by staff. 

The voice of pupils is at the heart of this school. Older pupils take on a range of responsibilities to develop their confidence and leadership skills. Pupils lead assemblies and lessons for others to ensure everybody knows how to keep themselves safe online. Pupils benefit from the varied extra-curricular activities and clubs provided. 

Thurston Church of England Primary Academy

Pupils enjoy learning in this friendly, inclusive school. They speak confidently about the ‘Thurston Way’ and how it underpins the school’s high expectations of their behaviour. Pupils typically behave well and work hard. They know the importance of making the right choices. 

Ensuring that all pupils read well is at the heart of the curriculum. 

Everyone is made to feel welcome. New pupils settle in quickly, including those who join the school at a later stage in their education. Pupils feel safe. The pupil collective worship leads play an active role in celebrating the school’s values.
