About Us

The group was instigated through the Six Strategic Group as a stand alone community service supported by the 5+ Community News, the Norfolk Rural Community Council and South Norfolk Council. Our objective is to support people in need in the local communities in order to improve their quality of life. This will be achieved by volunteers who will provide practical assistance.

There is a Steering Group who meet regularly to manage how we operate and a separate committee that supports the Duty Officers and Volunteers.

All of our volunteers live locally, give their time freely and have had Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks.
