Culinary Tech

This course is designed to help students better understand the basic principle of the culinary field. Food science, recipe comprehension, knife skills and culinary terms are included in every unit. Students will learn how to prepare poultry, quick breads, yeast breads, pies and desserts, soups, sauces, and casseroles. An outdoor unit will help students with camping and grilling techniques. Serv Safe certification is also available for those who qualify. Teamwork, work ethic and community service play important roles in the course.
