Student Ambassadors wants to invite YOU to our after school movie! Save the date for Friday January 16 from 3.30- 5.30 in the ERC! Admission is free and snacks will be available for sale! SAVE THE DATE!

The In the Know team competes Tuesday, December 9th, after school in room 504.  All members are encouraged to attend and new members can come see the competition format.  See Mr. VanDyne with any questions.

On Wednesday, January 7th there will be a meeting for anyone interested in doing the spring musical, Frozen, in the auditorium from 3:30 - 4:00. Save the date!!!!

(image) The class of '26 is selling candy canes during lunch periods starting today through friday next week. 

Students are able to purchase candy canes to gift to others; one for $1 or buy five, get one free. Candy Canes will be delivered before break for the holidays.

Today's Spirit Wear was Red and Green!  The sophomores came out to represent!  They are in the lead for this season's cohort competition.  

NHS, Key Club, and Student Council are coming together this holiday season to help local families over winter break! We are having a “White Christmas” food drive right here at Westland! Let’s hear more! (video)

Shoutout to the boys varsity basketball team for a 2-0 start! 

They took down Worthington Kilbourne 54-49. 

71-44 Canal Winchester. Breaker Heller scored a combined 38 points over the two games and Phoneix Funderburke scored 32. Jayden Deedat had 20 points over both games and a double-double. Uthman Sharif had 19 points and 19 rebounds in total. Austin Jones had 15 points and 9 assists. Way to go boys! 

Boys JV basketball will take on Canal Winchester tonight at home at 5:30!

Girls basketball will play Shekinah Christian at 7:30 TONIGHT! Let’s go Lady Cougars!!!

Westland Football: Our first lift is today after school!

Whether you're a returning player or someone interested in joining the team, we lift every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:30–5:30 PM in the Rec Center weight room.

Congrats to the Westland Wrestling team who placed 6th out of 16 teams on Saturday!! Shoutout to Ahmad Reid, Maurice Alderson, Owen Larva, and Marco Morales in 5th place, Luke Crosier in 4th place, Alex Ritter in 3rd place, and Cooper Whiting and River Reed in 2nd place in their respective weight classes. Way to go cougs!!!!
