Hey Cougars! It's recycling day! Teachers, please send 1 or 2 students to empty your recycling bins in the dumpster by the greenhouse. Thanks for helping Westland go green!

The lunch for today is bosco sticks with marinara, chicken and waffles or a BBQ pulled pork on a bun with a side of steamed corn.

The weather for today is a high of 61 and a low of 37.

If you missed the Drama Club meeting Wednesday but are interested in being a part of the spring musical Frozen, acting/singing auditions are next Wednesday after school and Stage Crew interviews are next Thursday, both in the auditorium.  See Mr. White or Mr. Rone or stop by the auditorium for information.

The next meeting of Tabletop Club will be TODAY after school in the ERC. See you there!

Class of 2028- pick up your field trip permission forms TODAY for the field trip to our Career Academy.  All are welcome from the class of 2028.  Deadline to have the form returned is FRIDAY, January 16!!  You can visit 3 labs on the field trip and see what options you have for career technical programs your junior and senior year.   Go to the student office to pick up the field trip form.  No forms will be accepted after the deadline!  See Mrs. Shore with questions.

The next National Honor Society meeting will take place on MONDAY, January 12 at 3:30 in room 701. We will be discussing our next service projects and the annual carnation sale fundraiser so it is important that everyone is there! See Ms. Rado or Mrs. Ruthers with any questions.

Junior Breaker Heller had 42 points, 16 assists, 13 rebounds and 6 steals in three games over Christmas Break!!!! Cast your vote for Breaker as Dispatch Preps Boys Athlete of the Week!!!! Vote on Google Classroom. 

Wrestling lost yesterday 41-33 but individual varsity wins come from Ahmad Reid, Xavier Wegman, Mason Akers, Luke Crosier, Cooper Whiting, and River Reed. 

Girls Varsity beat Scioto 48-6 with individual wins from Mayam Ahmed, Bella Garcia, Peyton Humes, Aliyah Deibel, Aurora Hoskins, Yareli Cortes, Susan Vandarpaw, and Ana Rojas! Way to go ladies! 

Girls bball has an away game today against Westerville South at 7:30

Boys bball has a home game today against Westerville South. JV starts at 6 and varsity at 7! Come out and support your cougars!
