Summit Academy Xenia provides a variety of communication options for parents other than phone and email. Below is a list of those options with a brief description of what they are and how to use them.
One Call - One call is an automated notification system that provides emergency and routine phone and text messages used by the school to send important messages to all parents. One Call is often used to announce school closures.
Email - All staff emails are firstname.lastname@summitacademies.org
Class Dojo - Is a behavior management tool for the classroom. Each student has a profile – complete with their own avatar – to which teachers can assign points throughout the lesson. This is used to help students monitor their own behavior as well as rewarding students who meet behavior goals.
Class Dojo is also used to facilitate communication between parent and teacher concerning behavior. Please follow this link to view instructions on setting up Class Dojo on your phone or tablet.
Progressbook - ProgressBook lets you and your student view grades, homework, schedule, attendance and report card information. Follow this link to learn how to create an account and begin viewing your students progress.
