What's Happening This Week in 2L?
News for the week of: January 12th:
*Scholastic book orders will come home today. Orders are due by next Tuesday, January 20th.
*Winter MAP testing will take place this week Tuesday-Thursday.
*Report card grades will be posted by 3:00PM on Tuesday. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
*No school next Monday, January 19th.

*No homework this week!
*THANK YOU to all who have sent in items from our supply list below. There are still a few things that we would really appreciate for the second half of the school year. Thanks for your help!

What are we learning this week?
Faith - We will continue our sacrament prep: "The Sacraments Bring Us God's Love." Keep practicing the Act of Contrition at home.
Reading- We will begin our new unit that will take us back into fiction with a focus on the story element of character. Our grammar focus will be conjunctions.
Math-We will continue our new module - Shapes and Time with Fraction Concepts.
Social Studies - Our unit for the week will be: "How are goods made and brought to us?"
Writing - We will do some writings for Catholic Schools Week which is coming up on January 25th!
