What's Happening This Week in 2L?
News for the week of: September 21st:
*Stories read for homework can be logged for 100 Club! The homework story for this week is Poppleton and the Grapefruit.
*No school this Thursday, September 24th for the beatification of Fulton Sheen.
*This Friday, September 25th, is an optional PND Spiritwear shirt day (school appropriate navy, green, or PND top, uniform bottoms) in celebration of PND homecoming!

What are we learning this week?
Reading: Our focus this week will be looking at cause and effect in fiction texts. Our grammar focus will be identifying verbs.
Math: We'll continue our current topic and assess the midway point of the module.
Faith: We will learn all about Fulton Sheen this week in preparation for his beatification this week.
Science: Our mystery question this week is: How could you get more birds to visit a bird feeder?
Writing: We'll continue working on our narratives this week.
