ACCELERATED READER

All of the fiction books have been marked with a sticker to indicate the AR level of each book. The students use the chart to find the color that matches their level, then find books on the shelves marked with that color.

I am in the process of marking the non-fiction books as well.

After reading a book, students take a short AR quiz on the computer to check their comprehension of the story. This promotes more careful reading by the students and allows them to see their growth as they work to reach their reading goals.
