Two dates down the road to be thinking about ...

[1] Submissions of letters of interest for jobs in the Geo-Lab are due on Friday, October 11th. Please use the format for a business letter shown in the sample letter in the Geo-Lab handout.

[2] Geo-Fashion Day is Wednesday, October 16th. You should begin to consider what you will wear to school that day. It should be an article of clothing you have that can be explained geographically, using the Five Themes of Geography. (Where is that place? What is it like there? Who lives there and/or has settled there? Does the name have special meaning? When was it first settled?)
