Head Coach: Kathy Henderson
With the Ponies: Head Coach 2013-2024 and 19 years as Assistant Coach (1993-2011)
Synchro Experience: Kathy started swimming synchro in 7th grade. While swimming for the Ponies, she earned multiple state championship titles and was awarded All-State in 1991. She then swam for the University of Minnesota for 3 years. Kathy started coaching when she was 19 years old. In addition to the Ponies, she has been an assistant coach for Stillwater Synchro club since 1993. She also coached the U of MN synchro team from 1997-2003.
Assistant Coach: Juliet Schmit
With the Ponies: 23 years as Assistant Coach (2002 - 2024)
Synchro Experience: Juliet swam for the Ponies for 5 years, won the state championship 4 out of those 5 years, and was awarded All-State swimmer in 2000. After high school Juliet continued her swimming at the U of MN for 4 years, and continues to swim for US Masters Synchronized Swimming out of St. Louis Park. As a masters swimmer she has won or placed in several national events in the years she has competed.
Assistant Coach: Kellei St. Martin
With the Ponies: 12 years as Assistant Coach (2013-2020)
Synchro Experience: Kellei is a former Pony swimmer and high school champion. She is a 3-time All-State winner and holds championship titles in the solo, duet, team and figures events. She also is the former head coach of the Hopkins High School synchronized swim team. She started that program in 1992 and grew it from a club of 8 girls to a very competitive team of 50+. She is currently an intervention teacher for Stillwater Schools. Kellei is married and lives in Stillwater with her husband Eric, and daughter Josie.
Assistant Coach: Morgan Judkins
With the Ponies: 9 years as Assistant Coach (2016-24)
Synchro Experience: Morgan swam for the Ponies for 5 years, going to state four out of those five years. She competed in the duet, trio, and team events resulting in placing at state multiple years in a row, and had the honor of winning the extended team event her senior year. In later years, Morgan swam for the University of Minnesota after transferring universities.
Assistant Coach: Angie Lewandowski
With the Ponies: 9 years as Assistant Coach (2014, 2017-24)
Synchro Experience: Angie is former Pony and state champion synchronized swimmer. She started swimming synchro at the age of 8, and continued competing in club and high school synchro. She is a 3-time All-State award winner, and state champion in duet and team events.
