The instructional technology specialist is here to support and coach classroom teachers in the implementation of instructional technology to improve student learning and achievement. The instructional technology specialist also visits schools and works individually with staff in the utilization of educational technology.

Assist and guide use of our learning management system and/or student information system
Integrate Google Workspace for Education applications in the classroom
Help utilize technology to improve classroom communication with parents
Discuss, model, and assist with digital citizenship lessons
Assist you with the collection/organization of digital work
Help you with district provided technology resources including Discovery Education, BrainPOP (and other educational resources), interactive whiteboards, document cameras, etc.
Help you and your students with digital storytelling/publishing projects

The instructional technology specialist is located at the Benton Administrative Center in the curriculum and instruction lab (alongside the K-6 curriculum specialist and the 7-12 curriculum specialist). Trainings can be scheduled virtually through Zoom or in person at your location.
