Thursday, February 27th

Today was the second class to work on unit 5 assignment #1 (all three parts). If you didn't finish in class you must now finish for homework. This assignment is due on Wednesday.

Tuesday, February 25th

Today students worked on the unit 5 assignment #1. Remember there are two parts to this. There is the original assignment plus the extra sheet on interpreting graphs. In addition to the questions on this second sheet, you are also required to choose one of the series displayed on the graph and write a full, paragraph-style description of the object's motion. This must include specific values for speed, distance, and time for each interval and will be graded based on clarity of the communication as well as the content.

Today we covered section 5.3 on interpreting graphs. For homework please get started on the unit 5 assignment #1. You'll have tomorrow's class to work on it as well.

Today we covered section 3.1 on greatest common factors and lowest common multiples. For homework please complete the following three questions:

Find the prime factorization of 2480.
Find the GCF for 224 and 632.
Find the LCM for 14, 21, and 32.
