Homework

Purpose

Dear Families,

The purpose of homework is to reinforce concepts learned in class and allow practice of these skills at home. By having homework in Kindergarten, families are engaged in their students' learning. It is also a great start to transitioning into upper elementary school.

My goal is to make homework enjoyable and allowed students to want to practice. Homework should generally not exceed about 10 minutes a night.

We will also have a monthly family project to complete. This will allow for creativity, family bonding, and enrichment for what we are learning about. It is encouraged to work together as a family to complete the project. You will receive the project at the beginning of each month.
