PSAT Testing: For Juniors and Sophomores Only!

This is the only test date offered at FMHS and there will be NO make up exams after that date! Testing starts at 8am sharp and you cannot be admitted late.
PSAT/NMSQT is an elective test for Juniors & must register if interested
FMHS Sophomores are registered and do not pay the exam fee.
Student grade level is determined by Skyward
PSAT Online Registration will be open
August 14th until August 31st @ 3:00pm.
(FMHS only) Sophomore Registration:
LISD pays for all sophomore students to take the test/so it's FREE! You don't need to do or pay anything, you are already registered. 😀
Junior Registration (and all non FMHS students registering to test at FMHS):
JUNIOR students or sophomores and juniors who are homeschooled students not enrolled at FMHS: For juniors/non-FMHS homeschooled students, the test is completely optional and there are NO automatic sign ups. You must pay to take the test. The test fee is $14.00 (which includes a payment processing fee) and will be collected online via credit card at the link below. All juniors wishing to take this years PSAT must register and pay for the test by 3pm on 8/31/23. NO EXCEPTIONS! Any registration with an outstanding balance will be canceled after 3:01 pm on 8/31/23.

Please visit the College Board - PSAT Website to search for other test centers or other schools if you miss the registration deadline. Use your Zip Code to find schools testing in the area and contact them for registration.

Test Day Information:
Where to report information for test day will be published closer to the test date. Check posters in the main hallways to find room assignment (before test day).
Testing is 1st & 2nd periods, will end around 12:15PM.
Bring: Pencils / Calculator. FMHS will not furnish calculators for students on test day!!!!
Calculators are allowed but will NOT be provided
There is 1 math section where a calculator is NOT allowed.
Prohibited Calculators: QUARTY keyboard Calculators/ Cell phone / iPad apps are not allowed.
Cell phones are to be turned off and put in a backpack or purse during the testing session.
NO Smartwatches allowed

PSAT/NMSQT Scores
Students must have their confidential PSAT/NMSQT Access Code to access scores online. If the student provided a valid email address on their answer document, then an email will come from College Board PSAT/NMSQT with the Access Code. Students can also find their access code in Skyward under Educational Milestones.
Homeschool/Private school students:
Sophomores & Juniors only may test at FMHS. Please go to the Junior/homeschooled link to register and pay for your PSAT.
*Younger students (8th/9th) may not take the PSAT here at FMHS

CREATING AN ACCOUNT WITH COLLEGE BOARD:
Follow this link to create your College Board account - you will use this same account to access scores for all exams (PSAT, AP, SAT) and register for SAT exams. It is advised that when you set up your account you DO NOT use your LISD student email which will expire if you leave FMHS or graduate. Use an outside email. Students should only have ONE account with College Board...do NOT create multiple accounts!

* INCORRECT INFORMATION ON THE ANSWER DOCUMENT: If a student bubbled incorrect demographic information on their answer document, I.E. Name, Date of Birth, School ID, etc... They may have a problem accessing their online score report. PLEASE CALL 1-866-433-7728 to correct any errors. School personnel cannot fix errors created on College Board exams.*
