LET'S CELEBRATE TOGETHER!

September - October

Once again at RMS we celebrate this year the National Hispanic Heritage Month which is the period from September 15 to October 15 when people in the US recognize the contributions of Hispanics and Latinos to the United States and the Hispanic-Latino cultural heritage.

Hispanic Heritage Month was approved by President Ronald Reagan in 1988 and it was enacted into Public Law.

September was chosen as the starting point for the celebration because it is the anniversary of independence of 8 Latin American countries, and October was chosen because October the 12^th is the celebration of Columbus Day.
