Students and staff have access to a growing collection of ebooks and audiobooks through the school library.
Fiction and non-fiction audiobooks are purchased from OverDrive, which provides most of the audiobooks in our libraries. Titles are added to support classroom instruction, diverse student populations, and Oregon Battle of the Books.
Students and staff can also access books available through the Springfield Public Library/Oregon Digital Library Consortium.

Thanks Amy Eilers for this awesome video!
In the video overview, Amy Eiler talks about how to set your preferences, including audience and book availability.
In Sora, students will only be able to see books that are appropriate for their level.
All books are available to adults and high school students.
Middle school students may access young adult and juvenile books.
Elementary school students may access juvenile books.
In Destiny, students can see all books in the collection. However, book access is limited by level. For example, if an elementary student clicks on a young adult book, they won't be able to access it.
If you would like to place holds on books that are currently in use, be sure to set your preferences so that you can view all books.
When you look at the details of a book, you can see how many copies are available (see image below).
If it says, "Always available" an unlimited number of people can access the book simultaneously.
