Overview

Springfield Public Schools strives to provide a library program that will prepare students to become independent learners armed with ability to make new discoveries, investigate ideas, and seek information. Program and course goals include instruction that addresses the ability of each student to locate and retrieve organized print and non-print media and listen to, view, interpret and analyze media materials.

Purpose

This site is designed to be a resource for the SPS library staff and contains information and resources to ensure that SPS students acquire basic library skills.
